Record Profits at Impact Wrestling Under The Leadership Of Ed Nordholm

by ESPN -Ed Nordholm on Borash: "“[Borash] is leaving and joining the WWE. We wish him all the best. He’s a talented guy and has been with the company forever. But we have a lot of talented guys—change is good and it gives other guys a chance to step up.”

Impact Wrestling may be facing a lot of internal crisis that led to Borash leaving and joining the WWE , but it certainly isn't affecting the company's performance. Twitch posted its Q4 2017 results, and once again things are looking great.

Impact Wrestling recorded an overall revenue of $4 million with an operating profit of a staggering $1/2 million . That's a increase of 69%, making last quarter Impact's most profitable Q4 to date. Don Callis categorized the change as good, pointing out the recently influx of Brian Cage, Austin Aries
and John Hennigan into the company.

The Twitch deal has been massively profitable about a million dollars a year and the the Pluto TV deal is said to be about 50,000 a year . Mostly the profitable is coming in from the Global Wrestling Network Not only New Subscriptions for the network have created new revenue streams but companies paying to be on the network have created massively profitable revenue streams.

Ed Nordholm is open to releasing any Talent and believes that the company's profitability will be in new money streams and not any in ring Talent. The televisions division hasn't been the growth driver for Impact Wrestling for a few quarters now (Spike TV Era), with a bulk of the revenues coming from Twitch. The lucrative Twitch , Pluto TV and Global Wrestling Network businesses. Similarly, the profitability will be in new money streams in 2018. In short, Impact made a ton of money at the end of last year, and it doesn't look like that'll change this year.
